SANFORD, Fla. – A Seminole County Public Schools teacher was arrested Saturday on drug charges, according to a sheriff's office booking report. Shavon Pearson, 38, was arrested on charges of trafficking more than 4 grams of fentanyl. According to the the school directory , Pearson is a teacher at Seminole High School Ninth Grade Center in Sanford. Details about her arrest have not been released. The Seminole County school district said Pearson has been placed on administrative leave. Pearson was released from jail Sunday after posting a $15,000 bond, according to the booking report.
